Ghana Circular Economy Annual Conference 2026 Set for October

Ghana’s efforts to advance a circular economy will come into focus this October as policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, development partners, innovators and other stakeholders gather in Ho for the Ghana Circular Economy Annual Conference 2026.

The two-day conference, scheduled for 7–8 October 2026 at Ho Technical University, will provide a platform for stakeholders to examine opportunities for accelerating Ghana’s transition towards a circular economy and turning circular economy principles into practical economic opportunities.

The Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation will serve as Guest of Honour, alongside other dignitaries and key actors from Ghana’s circular economy ecosystem.

Organised by the Ghana Circular Economy Centre (GCEC), the conference will bring attention to issues including policy, innovation, investment, enterprise development and job creation, with discussions linked to key sectors such as agriculture and agro-processing, plastics and textiles.

The gathering will also provide an opportunity for businesses, innovators, researchers, policymakers and development partners to exchange ideas, showcase emerging solutions and strengthen partnerships that can support the scaling of circular economy practices in Ghana.

With growing interest in how Ghana can make more productive use of resources while creating economic value, the conference will offer a space for stakeholders to consider the policies, investments, innovations and partnerships needed to move the circular economy agenda forward.
